Ying grew up in Bangkok at the skirt of her mother who ran a small restaurant from the front of her house. Helping after school in the restaurant, Ying liked nothing more than getting into the kitchen and asking lots of questions.

Arriving in Australia 6 years ago gave Ying the opportunity to follow in her mothers footsteps, opening her own little restaurant Ying's Krua Thai in her new home town of Neerim South in 2015.  It quickly become a popular location for authentic Thai food.  

Ying is passionate about sharing the authentic flavours of Thailand using fresh whole ingredients, but she is also in possession of a deliciously daggy sense of humour ensuring everyone who attends her classes leave with a full belly and a big smile. 

In this class Ying will teach you how to make some of her favourite simple Thai dishes from scratch  to keep you warm during the cold winter months including Thai green curry paste and fragrant beef curry,  Kai Jeow Moo Sab (pork mince stuffed Thai omelette), and Gluay Kag (Fried Bananas with sesame)
