If you’ve popped down to the Warragul farmers Market lately, you’ve probably picked up one of Raj’s perfectly spiced, samosas, curry puffs, chilli fritters or dosa ( or one of his cracking pies - he’s nailed the best of Indian and Aussie fast foods) .

Raj originally hails from Bangalore, South India where he grew up enjoying preparing meals with his dad. Cooking with his father ignited the passion for food in Raj, which he turned into his profession.  In 2011 he moved to Noojee and honed his cheffing and hospitality skills under the guidance of much loved local restauranteurs John and Barb Snelling at the Outpost and Toolshed Bar. With his infectiously cheeky grin, generous hospitality and awesome food  (seriously, check out the long list of 5 star review on Albert’s Kitchen’s Facebook Page) he has quickly established himself as part of the local food scene.

In 2015 Raj took a leap and opened Albert’s Kitchen in Drouin and more recently adding Albert’s Kitchen food truck to the mix , so we couldn’t think of a better addition to our Summer Street Food Season.

Enjoy the breeze, a beer and learn to make authentic Indian Street Food, including Mumbai Pav Bahaji, Gobi Manchuria, Puffed Rice, only to name a few.
