It's been awhile since we let Dave and Stu loose in the kitchen and you can be assured they won’t be holding anything back. Before String + Salt, Dave Cann and Stuart Hay were business partners in the quite possibly best bottle shop in the country, The Press Cellars.  The duo return with a class packed full of spice, salt, sugar, fat, meat, smoke hops, barley, malt, peat and big big flavours.

One of Dave’s guilty pleasure’s is binge watching Diner’s, Drive In’s and Dives and meditating upon what he might next concoct in his collection of smokers and BBQ’s that are slowly but surely taking over the garage.  We want to make a disclaimer “Dude Food" is not just for blokes, it’s born out the street food, American BBQ  and food truck culture and that we all just love. 

You’ll learn to cook simple, yet bold, dishes like Dave’s secret recipe spicy onion rings, deep fried jalapenos, bourbon and Coke pulled brisket, Karage chicken sliders,  And while you relish in all the salty, spicy goodness you will get the chance to enjoy a few fantastic boutique beers and whiskeys to match.

While a love of chilli and hops is not a necessity, it will be an advantage for maximum enjoyment.
