Cindy, born into a Chinese Malay family in Ipoh, Malaysia, grew up with a mother who was a chef by trade and spent much of her leisure time helping in her mother’s restaurants. Her mother’s passion for food was passed down to Cindy and, in turn, she developed a love of exploring the art of cooking through improvisation, experimentation and, of course, sharing with family and friends.
Already renowned for her delicious Malay classes, this time you’ll get to explore Cindy’s Chinese heritage while learning the art of the dumpling.
The class will include making dumpling skins, making and seasoning meat and vegetable fillings, different techniques for filling, cooking and serving dumpling as well as preparing a traditional soup to enjoy the dumplings in.
