Although only 24, Gippsland born chef Jessi McEwan has made a big impact in the Gippsland food scene and abroad. Beginning her career at Wild Dog Winery restaurant as an apprentice, Jess was the first Young Chef Ambassador for Australia…she was also the first young chef to gain a seat at the national Australian Culinary Federation. She dedicates herself to mentoring and supporting young chefs. Returning to Warragul after stint in Melbourne, Jessi now works alongside Trevor Perkins and his team at acclaimed Hogget Kitchen.

Jessi possesses a particular talent when it comes to all things sweet. In this hands-on class dedicated to our favourite ingredient chocolate,  Jess will teach you a selection of savoury and set chocolate dishes as well as essential chocolate techniques including tempering and moulding.

The evening will include a light dinner and refreshments and a few sweet treats to take home.
